Mohamed al Tayeb & the Renegades
Mohamed al Tayeb is a singer from central Sudan. Together with his band, the Renegades, they perform a blend of east- and north-African traditionals dipped in a modern, contemporary jacket where the emphasis is strong rhythmic grooves and high-octane energy. Their number one goal is to make you move and dance your troubles away. On the (already) legendary King’s Night on the 26th of April at the Tanker they will bring blistering solos, strong grooves and all-around positivity and passion to their craft – and your entertainment.

Bacchanalia
Sometimes the most foolish combinations are excellent. A golden cocktail: repeating cumbia rhythms as a basis for explosive jazz strapping. The six-headed Bacchanalia, led by Uruguayan bass player Miguel Petruccelli, made concert halls, cafés, stages and tents sweat and explode. It is the mesmerizing Spanish African rhythms and the roughly exploding lashes of saxophone, guitar and percussion that make up the entire band sound like a fire-breathing monster.
Saxophone: John Dikeman
Bass Guitar: Miguel Petruccelli
Drums: Onno Govaert
Drums: Tristan Renfrow
