Amusia is a cycle in search of generating new platforms where artists interested in experimental sound research and improvisation, can interact.

Amusia is a condition that makes music sound unpleasant, or just pure noise. This inability to recognize tones and melodies has been the inspiration for this series of concerts. Leaving aside preconceived ideas about what music should sound like, this roster of artists seeks to create instant compositions that break with the expected schemes, with an emphasis on freedom of choice and improvisation.

Be invited to open up to new ways of listening and appreciating in unconventional ways… Some sounds seem uncomfortable or alien, but with perseverance they may become quite the opposite.
