On June 3rd, come and refuel during a night of live music at De Tanker in Noord: a unique grassroots venue at the edge of Noorderpark. Next to the soothing highway we’ll display a catchy lineup of indie-rock bands with itchy post-covid fingers and DJs exploring the edges of house and disco. Fuel up – not with overpriced gas but a good dose of party petrol.
Palifico are an Amsterdam-based four piece focused on danceable grooves and gritty breakdowns. Their post-punk yet dreamy sound draws inspiration from bands like The War On Drugs to Gang of Four and beyond, creating atmospheric post-rock tones with a tight indie finish.
Amsterdam-based band vanderbilt. mix melodic indierock tunes with dreamy lyrics and a happy touch of weirdness. They started in the fall of 2019 and inspirations include Radiohead, Sparklehorse, Roxy Music and Phoebe Bridgers.
