A steaming halloween cauldron of dangerously danceable and chillingly cheesy grooves, is what awaits you this evening at De (Roze) Tanker in Noord: musicians from Caribbean, Brazilian, Central-European, Balkan styles, as well as gypsy jazz, latin jazz, flamenco, and more, jamming together.
A list of jammable “latinoid” and “gypsoid” songs will be compiled beforehand between the invited musicians. The hosts, Pablo Ivans and the Lacho Kings, will showcase just a few tunes from their repertoire in progress, which can be summed up as Latin Gypsy Rumbapop. Groovy DJ Chajes will surely keep you on the dancefloor between sets.
Just a short romantic walk from Metro Noorderpark, through the spooky forest, come get your bowl poured with hot Latin Gypsy witchcraft!
