Met de auto: parkeren ergen in de buurt van de 'Leeuwarderweg 76' (toets dit in op maps) achter de Gele Pomp en daar verder te voet over 1 van de twee fietsbruggen over de 'Nieuwe' Leeuwarderweg richting de Roze Tanker. Is ongeveer 3 minuten lopen.
Laden en lossen kan alleen via deze route
Vanaf de IJtunnel / Centrum: Neem niet de eerste, maar de tweede afslag op de Nieuwe Leeuwarderweg. Onderaan de botonde rijdt u een ronde van 360° en gaat terug richting de IJtunnel. Aan uw rechterhand ziet u een slagboom. Rijd hier het fietspad op langs de verzonken weg (links van u). Na ±250 meter staat De Tanker: een roze gebouw (voormalig benzinestation).
Vanaf de Ring S116: Neem de afslag S116 richting Centrum → u rijdt op de Nieuwe Leeuwarderweg. Neem ook hier de tweede afslag en ga op de botonde rechtdoor, alsof u de Nieuwe Leeuwarderweg weer oprijdt.Volg dan dezelfde route via het fietspad naar De Tanker.
metro halte Noorderpark En dan een heerlijke wandeling van 7 minuten langs het Noord Hollandkanaal (aan je linkerhand) en dan vlak voor de Eva Schalk (fiets)brug naar links zie je het roze gebouw al liggen.
