A closer listen reveals that what might seem familiar at first has a truly unique and eclectic sound. Heavily influenced by the spirit of free improv\, the music is as sexy and danceable as it is uncompromisingly gritty. On stage 12 Tribes really cast their spell: time and time again trance inducing acoustic grooves are torn apart by wild improvisations and electronics\, before the musicians return to the rhythm as if nothing had ever happened. Sinds ze in 2012 beiden aan een grote tentoonstelling in Frankrijk deelnamen werken ze nauw samen. In eerste instantie naast hun eigen werk\, maar na een duo-tentoonstelling in 2015 werd de samenwerking structureel. Tegenwoordig maken ze alleen nog gezamenlijk werk. \n\n\n\nAls kunstenaarsduo creëren ze onder andere kleinere objecten\, grotere installaties\, animatie\, interactieve kunstprojecten en performance kunst. Tweedehands readymade materialen zijn een belangrijk onderdeel van hun werk. De kringloopwinkel is hun kunstenaarsmaterialenwinkel. Readymade objecten worden gemanipuleerd om ze een nieuwe of sterkere betekenis te geven. Het hergebruik stopt echter niet bij de spullen uit de kringloop. Ook woorden en symbolen worden hergebruikt en gemanipuleerd. Losse woorden\, maar soms ook complete citaten\, worden gerecycled en krijgen zo een nieuwe betekenis in de huidige tijd. \n\n\n\nHet werk kent meerdere lagen. Op het eerste gezicht zie je wellicht een simpel grappig kunstwerk en kan je lachen om de cynische humor. Maar meestal is er een tweede\, derde of zelfs vierde laag die niet zo grappig meer is. De kunstwerken van A+B zijn een spiegel die de tragedie van de mensheid toont. Ze zijn niet bedoeld om je antwoorden te geven\, eerder dagen ze je uit om over jezelf na te denken en over de wereld waarin je leeft.  \n\n\n\nWhat you see is what you get.
