SUMMARY:Expo: Co Panse
Should I stay or should I go. \n  \nTeam Tanker 2024 \nwww.detanker.nl

SUMMARY:Expo opening Yuliia Orlova en Al Soré
DESCRIPTION:Yulia Orlova is a self-taught Ukrainian born artist based in Amsterdam. She creates vibrant compositions of interconnected objects and fairytale-like characters. Drawing inspiration from folk and outsider art\, Yuliia makes art intuitively and free of judgement utilising topics from everyday life and her own experiences. She is drawn to whimsical depictions of animals and fairy-tale like characters\, as they offer a sense of playfulness and joy that helps to counterbalance the stress and anxiety of modern existence. \nhttps://www.myweirdart.com/about \nhttps://www.instagram.com/myweirdart_/ \nAl Soré\, full name Alona Sokurenko\, born in 1992 in Ukraine\, is a mixed-media artist and designer currently based in Amsterdam\, Netherlands. Al’s practice is driven by the inner anxieties of living and existence\, and consequently\, the right to be. The process is intuitive\, often embracing randomness to create unexpected results. Nature elements and landscapes are the main subject matter of her paintings. The works often merge various mediums\, creating semi-abstract\, dream-like compositions that invite viewers to contemplate and wander in the ephemeral and the ethereal. \nhttp://al-sore.glitch.me \nhttps://www.instagram.com/al___sore \n\n

SUMMARY:Expo- Lena Vigeveno
DESCRIPTION:Lena Vigeveno is a Dutch artist born and raised in Amsterdam. Starting as a \n\n\n\ncostume designer and stylist her love of textiles is still a big inspiration for her \n\n\n\ncurrent work. \n\n\n\n‘This series is about my relationship to my Ukrainian heritage. \n\n\n\nInspired by folklore\, traditions\, and family tales\, I’ve been painting the mythical \n\n\n\nfigures that are my (and perhaps all of our) ancestors. \n\n\n\nThese larger paintings depict famous folk figures of East Slavic culture. \n\n\n\n I combined these figures with traditional embroidery techniques and different \n\n\n\nfabrics\, representing my family \n\n\n\n’s and my personal relationship to the trade of \n\n\n\nclothes making. \n\n\n\n‘ \n\n\n\nCONTACT: \n\n\n\nEmail: lenavigeveno@gmail.com \n\n\n\nInstagram: Lenavigeveno \n\n\n\nWebsite: Lenavigeveno.nl

SUMMARY:Expo: Opening Juliane Goustard
DESCRIPTION:Red\, radiant and roaring; or motionless\, worn down\, caught in a moment of pause. Red cars\, which once ruled the roads and cut through the night with their blood-red color\, like racing cars on a circuit\, now feel like relics of the past. Yet\, despite their decline\, tinged with nostalgia\, cars are still red. \n\n\n\nThis series is not a catalog\, but a photographic exploration of the symbolism of the red car\, shaped by chance encounters and fleeting sightings around a corner. \n\n\n\nThe project began in 2019 in Nantes\, France\, during my studies\, when a professor simply asked us to create a photo series. A few days later\, I came across two quirky red cars and photographed them\, which sparked the idea of this work. After a break\, I resumed the project\, collecting red cars glimpsed in unexpected settings. First held at the OZO Bellevue Station in France in 2025\, the Cars Are Red exhibition is now heading to another gas station: this time in Amsterdam\, the Netherlands. As it travels from one station to the next\, the exhibition venue becomes an extension of its theme: a place of passage\, pause\, and contemplation.  \n\n\n\nThe journeys of this exhibition take shape in an embroidered jacket\, inspired by the blue workwear of gas station attendants and mechanics\, and the mosaics of patches on racing suits. This garment evolves over time\, mirroring the life of the exhibition itself.
