Based in the heart of Rotterdam\, I explore the boundaries between noise and silence\, structure and chaos. Het project is uitgegroeid tot een collectief van muzikanten\, waaronder Sandra Tenwolde (vocalen)\, Esther Ton (gitaar)\, Mathé Sluijter (synthesizers\, percussie)\, Laurens Bijl (cello)\, Radbouth (synthesizers\, gitaar) en Evert Bal (trompet\, synthesizers).\nDe muziek van Manica kenmerkt zich door de combinatie van organische instrumenten en synthesizers. In de studio werken ze vanuit momentopnames\, wat leidt tot gelaagde\, atmosferische geluidslandschappen. Live-optredens zijn gericht op vrije improvisatie\, met een sterke nadruk op de interactie tussen de muzikanten. Deze aanpak biedt de ruimte voor spontane creativiteit en de exploratie van verschillende muzikale richtingen.\nDoor de jaren heen heeft Manica zijn geluid verder ontwikkeld\, waarbij de muzikale visie en experimentatie centraal staan.
