The walls are up\, the roof is on\, and the cesspit is in place — but construction has come to a halt due to a lack of funds. \n\n\n\nWe still need to: \n\n\n\n• lay water pipes to connect to the supply network \n\n\n\n• install a 10\,000-litre underground tank (to ensure water during the dry season) \n\n\n\n• fit showers and toilets \n\n\n\n• finish the interior \n\n\n\n• add a solar/gas heating system for the showers \n\n\n\nAll proceeds will go towards completing the bathhouse 💦 \n\n\n\nWith many thanks to the fantastic volunteers helping us organize this\, our host de Tanker in Noord and the generous artwork donations by former artists-in-residence.
