DESCRIPTION:On 4 July\, we’re holding a fundraiser in Amsterdam with an 💥art auction💥 featuring works by artists connected to Tsarino (also accessible online via live stream!).all money will go to finishing the bathhouse in Tsarino: \n\n\n\nhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/a-bathhouse-in-tsarino?utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&lang=en_US \n\n\n\nIt’ll be a lively evening with performances (tba)\, live music\, cocktails\, and themed food by Cian-Ti Wang \n\n\n\nWhy? \n\n\n\nOver the past months\, we’ve started constructing a small bathhouse near the outdoor kitchen: a stone building in the traditional local style\, with two hot showers and flushing toilets. The walls are up\, the roof is on\, and the cesspit is in place — but construction has come to a halt due to a lack of funds. \n\n\n\nWe still need to: \n\n\n\n• lay water pipes to connect to the supply network \n\n\n\n• install a 10\,000-litre underground tank (to ensure water during the dry season) \n\n\n\n• fit showers and toilets \n\n\n\n• finish the interior \n\n\n\n• add a solar/gas heating system for the showers \n\n\n\nAll proceeds will go towards completing the bathhouse 💦 \n\n\n\nWith many thanks to the fantastic volunteers helping us organize this\, our host de Tanker in Noord and the generous artwork donations by former artists-in-residence.
